April 2007 - Messages from Nature

“What message or gentle nudge did you get from the messengers in nature” was our question last month. Here's a few of the responses.

My nature story.
Most everyone has heard this story (‘cause I love it so much!), but for those who are new the site or have forgotten the story of the butterflies, here it is. When my husband and I were seeking a new house, our previous house was sold and we needed to find a house “that weekend”. The night before I asked my group of Spiritual helpers to give me a sign that I would have no way of knowing (without their help) that the house that was to be our new house was ”the one.” I heard “there will be a butterfly in the yard.” Cool, I thought, and shared this with my husband. Now I knew that could mean literally a butterfly flying around or symbolically like yard art or a garden sign.

We met with our real estate agent and looked at an older house, then looked at new construction, some house waaaay out in the boonies . . . finally, we decided to go separate ways. We parted from the agent, ate lunch with the kids. We decided on our own, without the agent, we would take one last look at the older house, the first one from the day. We again parked in the driveway, looked around the back, looked around the front, met and talked with some potential next door neighbors, returned around the back. I was looking in a window at the potential studio space when I heard my husband calling me, “A butterfly came right at my head!! I had to duck!”

Then from some where inside of me and felt a very strong yet gentle pull to look directly to my left. There on the wall was a metal wreath of butterflies and flowers. I said to my husband, “Did you see this?” We were silent. Then my husband said, “Let's go make an offer.” Being open to asking and hearing the answers PLUS allowing the alignment of such gifts is a blessing. Why we didn't see the metal wreath the first time we were there or while we lingered around the back upon arriving after lunch is a mystery. But nature tends to work that way. Mysteries of beauty, inspirations along the way and answers to questions, to say the least. Hope you have your listening ears on. Have a beautiful April. ~Bright Star

I love this story and, while I hadn't forgotten it, the details had faded, so it's nice to be able to come here and read it again when it crosses my mind.

I'm so glad you put your archives up! : )
